Following a process of analyzing specific areas of the proposed site for the new Bass Pro store in Clifton Park that involved agencies other than the Town, the final site plan approval will be considered by the Town Planning Board Wednesday night. The Town Planning Board granted preliminary site plan approval for the new Bass Pro Store in September of 2023.
Local development projects also require a series of approvals involving NYS and Federal agencies depending on the size and scope of the project coupled with the features of the proposed site. Final site plan approval by the Planning Board can be provided as the applicant secures the necessary approvals and permits from all involved agencies.
Many people have been anticipating the opening of the store since it was announced Bass Pro planned on a new store in Town. A new store has now taken multiple steps toward fruition.
