As we made our way through the pandemic, the job market became tighter and supply chain issues became a part of our daily lexicon. Workforce Development collaboration is incredibly important as we recruit and train the next generation of people who will hopefully fill jobs that remain infilled. In Saratoga County, we have a very robust Workforce Development Team that offers many services to assist County residents. Today, Global Foundries provided a $1 million grant to HVCC for a new effort to take their educational offerings to the next level. The private/ public sector partnerships in conjunction with our educational institutions will offer first class training opportunities to prepare our County students for their careers.
