The Clifton Park Town Board unveiled the new tribute to our Veterans on November 10th. The Town has had a monument in place on The Common as a tribute to our Veterans. The new project included new flag poles, new plantings, a walkway comprised of engraved 6X9 pavers and a sitting wall. A few hundred people have ordered a paver to be engraved with the name of a friend or family member who served in the military. We will continue to take orders for engraving on an continuous basis. The cost for the engraved paver is $100. Please contact my office at Town Hall or see Cliftonpark.org for more information. we were pleased so many people joined us at the ceremony to celebrate the service and sacrifice of our Veterans. Councilman Chris O’Hara, Councilman Morelli and I have worn a uniform proudly during our lives and appreciate the sacrifice made by the family members of Veterans as well as the Vets themselves.
